Playing Card Art: Native Playing Cards by Sean Voegeli

25 Mar

An American Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design (Cum Laude from California State University, Sacramento), Sean Voegeli, designed playing card artwork devoted to the Native American culture. He combined patterns found in it with some modern design and illustration. Some queens have very stylish decollates 🙂

The group of people in the Joker looks more like Founding Fathers (individuals of the Thirteen British Colonies in North America who led the American Revolution against the authority of the British Crown and established the United States of America) than Conquistadors (the soldiers and explorers of the Portuguese Empire or the Spanish Empire, conquering territory and opening trade routes).
