Playing cards designed (a project) by the American artist, Abby Diamond. They are dedicated to A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This is his first detective mystery involving Sherlock Holmes and his friend Dr John Watson as main characters. Each card design was hand-drawn then colored in Photoshop.

Kings – Sherlock Holmes
These four artworks are from a solo art show by Iyan de Jesus, Mechanical Romanticism (Makati; November 22, 2013). They are dedicated to four queens from a deck of playing cards and form the “Queens of Cards” Series. All queens were named in accordance with appropriate historical traditions existing for playing cards.
