Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890 – 1937) was an American author of horror, fantasy, poetry and science fiction, especially the subgenre known as weird fiction. Lovecraft is the originator of the Cthulhu Mythos story cycle which created a new shared fictional universe (a fictional universe to which more than one writer contributes).
The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society (HPLHS) is the organization that hosts Cthulhu Lives!. It is a group of live-action roleplayers for the Cthulhu Live. Cthulhu Live itself is a live-action roleplaying game version of the popular horror roleplaying game Call of Cthulhu based on the works of H. P. Lovecraft. HPLHS was founded in Colorado (now it is based in California) in 1984.
The Society also produces a number of Cthulhu Mythos films and sound recordings under its Mythoscope and Mythophone labels. Additionally HPLHS produces different merchandise based on the Cthulhu Mythos theme including the deck of playing cards.

Arthur and Merlin playing cards (a project) designed by !Lenxen1984.
Merlin is a legendary figure best known as the wizard featured in the Arthurian legend. The standard depiction of the character first appears in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s Historia Regum Britanniae, written c. 1136, and is based on an amalgamation of previous historical and legendary figures.
King Arthur is a legendary British leader of the late 5th and early 6th centuries, who, according to medieval histories and romances, led the defence of Britain against Saxon invaders in the early 6th century. The details of Arthur’s story are mainly composed of folklore and literary invention, and his historical existence is debated and disputed by modern historians.

This deck consists of 54 poker playing cards. It’s inspired by the staff and faculty of Harry Potter. Less than 60 decks were printed on high-quality 300 GSM cardstock as the first edition. Decks come in clear hard plastic boxes.
Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels written by the British author J. K. Rowling. The novels describe the adventures of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends (Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger). They all are students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The main story arc concerns Harry’s quest to overcome the Dark wizard Lord Voldemort. The Dark wizard aims to become immortal, conquer the wizarding world and subjugate non-magical people.
Playing cards designed by Roman Shemayev. All court cards are custom and feature images of such characters as Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, McGonagall, Umbridge, Sprout, etc.

“This charming deck of playing cards is “Alice in Wonderland” themed and features illustrations drawn by John Teniel from “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll. Each illustration was then digitally painted by me and placed on lovely coffee backgrounds (also painted by me). Each letter/number features a different image from the books. (15 different images total including the back of the cards.) The symbols for the club, spade, heart and diamond were designed by me.
Each deck is professionally printed, contains 54 cards (A-K plus two jokers) and comes in a clear plastic box. The cards are hard to crease industry quality bendable card, same as what casinos use.
