Tiki Series of digital art prints by Michael L. Marland. Digitally-colored drawings using a combination of tiki images and playing card art.
Tiki are large wood and stone carvings which have humanoid forms and take special place in Central Eastern Polynesian cultures of the Pacific Ocean. This term is also used in Māori mythology. In accordance with this mythology Tiki was the first man created by either Tūmatauenga or Tāne.

Using papercutting techniques, Emmanuel follows a centuries-old tradition of transforming the suits and pips of a standard deck of playing cards.
His personal challenge: Create 1 playing card a week, culminating in a complete deck of transformation playing cards***. More read and see here
He decided to create a transformation deck dedicated to birds in 2012 – Clipped Wings Deck. I hope this deck will be printed.

Circus No.47 Playing Cards printed by the United States Playing Card Company. First issued in 1896. This is a vintage deck. I hope USPCC will reprint it.
