The Colour Printing Plant (USSR, Russian Federation) started to print these playing cards in 1973 and finished to print them in the early 1980s. The plant itself was closed in 2004.
The deck designed by Viktor Mihajlovich Sveshnikov. Playing cards are based on the theme of opera scenes (sometimes they are named Theatre Playing Cards).
The deck: 52 playing cards + 2 Jokers.

Voyager Bicycle Playing Card Deck, designed by Bill Collins (The Other Look). Inspired by early history playing cards. The Voyager deck will be printed by the United States Playing Card Company and will be branded with the Bicycle© logo.

“The Queen of Diamonds depicts Agnes Sorel, mistress to Charles VII. Agnes Sorel was the first woman to introduce the fashion for wearing diamonds. (Diamonds were typically only worn by men until Miss Sorel decided she wanted some bling around her neck).These playing cards were inspired by the The Visconti Tarot (also know at the Cary-Yale deck), one of the oldest set of playing cards in existence.” ~ Carlyn Beccia
