Bēhance: Red Hot Chili Peppers Playing Cards by Gurleen Kaur

Red Hot Chili Peppers playing cards (project) designed by the Indian artist Gurleen Kaur. There are illustrations based on famous songs by the band Red Hot Chili Peppers on these playing cards.

Red Hot Chili Peppers (also commonly known as the “Chili Peppers” or abbreviated as RHCP) are an American rock band formed in 1983. The group’s musical style primarily consists of rock with an emphasis on funk, as well as elements from other genres such as punk rock and psychedelic rock.

Each number card or court card of all four suits has almost the same picture. Pictures of “black” suits have black backgrounds and pictures of “red” suits have red backgrounds.

Playing Card Art: Music Playing Cards by Sydney James

Several playing cards designed by Sydney James are dedicated to different musicians and singers.

“I started this series because I wanted to pay true homage to the musicians that have inspired movements, modified cultures and made music history. “Once I started the paintings, the concept of the combination of playing card designs with the likeness of each artist made more sense.
