“I had to make 4 playing cards for a brief at tafe. Based on graffiti art. I made these stecil grunge like cards. And i based them as my personal collection the ‘JC collection’. So the King of spades is me (of course) and the Queen of hearts is my beautiful girlfriend, then we just have the ace of spades and the 10 of hearts. we could do any four card we liked but two had to be either king/queen/jack/joker. “My attempt with the classic deck of playing cards. With influences from the Middle-East inspiring the symbols for the suits and the numbers, I wanted all the roalty cards to tone well with one another. Overall, 14 decks were made – all cut by hand.” ~ Egill Rúnar
