Kickstarter: Fuego Playing Cards by Cellar Window

Cellar Window (New York) is a new name in the world of custom modern playing cards. But Nam Tibon, the manager and designer behind this design studio, is quite familiar with playing card designs. The Philippine artist created designs for Mobster Playing Cards and British Monarchy Tally-Ho Playing Cards. His new studio, being inspired by Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) and artworks of the famous Mexican artist, José Guadalupe Posada.

The deck is planned to be printed by the Legends Playing Card Company (LPCC).

Kickstarter: Bicycle Calaveras Playing Cards by Chris Ovdiyenko

Calaveras brings the Day of the Dead to a custom deck of playing cards. All original and inspired by art from the turn of the century. Chris Ovdiyenko is creating a deck of playing cards that’s true in spirit and design to the roots of the Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos). The deck is planned to be printed by USPCC. And it also has agreed to let Chris use the Bicycle® logo from their original 1895 “Expert Back” deck
