Galen Ihlenfeldt		MPC (previous USPCC)
Galen Ihlenfeldt is a self-trained artist who has been creating images since he was about 4 years old. He has done many different types of art in many different mediums: portraits and landscapes etched into headstones, murals, digital and traditional fantasy/sci-fi art, realism, airbrushing, game card modification, custom gaming playmats, occasional portraits, etc. He tried his efforts as a playing card designer with his interesting Bicycle Merfolk deck last summer. Unfortunately, his beautiful project didn’t get deserved attention on Kickstarter that time. But he is going to relaunch it. Galen promises the following changes and improvements: full bleed backgrounds and card backs; new Deep ambigram logo; all new background art; new pip layout; new font for indices; brand new tuck art; Limited Edition deck; lower funding goal. Decks (Standard and Limited Editions) are planned to be printed by the Make Playing Cards (MPC). Unfortunately, the art of this deck was spoiled.

Bona Fide Playing Cards		EPCC (previous USPCC)
Bona Fide Playing Cards is a Spanish company. They designed a nice playing card decks – Nouveau Playing Cards (Standard and Limited Editions). Bona Fide Playing Cards tried to take into account old traditions of French playing cards and combine them with Art Nouveau style. also tried to rethink different existent works of art. The final task was to create on such basis something new with modern twist, but preserving recognizable elements. Unfortunately, as a Bicycle deck it wasn’t funded on Kickstarter in the beginning of 2015. Definitely, it’s one of the most unappreciated playing card projects. But the project is going to be relaunched on Kickstarter. The decks are planned to be printed by the Expert Playing Card Company. Read more about it HERE.
