Ricky Linn’s first version of Royal Seasons playing cards has already been featured on pages of this site. The artist rethought the concept. He is designing new Royal Seasons #2 playing cards dedicated to his interpretation of classic Anglo-French court cards.
Each suit still carries a season theme: Clubs – spring; Hearts – summer; Spade – fall; Diamond – winter. Complete deck to come at the end of 2014.

Royal Seasons #2 Playing Cards: The King of Clubs
This is a Joker playing card executed as the Ace of Spades. It is designed by the American artist, Dave Kramer (Indytoo). It is obvious that his inspiration comes from the DC Comics Universe.

This set of playing cards (just an art project) with an East Indian twist was designed by the American artist, Lucy Aldrich. It’s a pity that court cards of different suits repeat each other.

A bird can represent a number of different ideas and concepts (conjugal happiness, heaven and infinity, etc.) in Indian culture. It’s hard to say what bird is depicted on the Joker. Peacock is one of symbols of India, actually. But it isn’t a peacock on the picture. Let’s assume that it is some parrot. Parrots are a sign of fertility
East Indian Playing Cards: Joker
The designer of Good and Evil decks decided to create some beautiful in its craziness design for playing cards. As a result we have Delirium playing cards on Kickstarter. Delirium deck is designed by Thirdway Industries, Giovanni Meroni’s new brand of playing cards. Crazy, stylish, strange, vivid, funny… it’s all about them.
These playing cards are planned to be printed by the Expert Playing Card Company (EPCC). Poker size.
