In Greek mythology, Nemesis is the spirit of divine retribution against those who succumb to arrogance. The word originally meant “the distributor of fortune”, neither good nor bad. According to some legends, Nemesis produced the egg from which hatched two sets of twins, including Helen of Troy.” ~ Anna

DeviantART: Playing Cards by Roksana

These playing cards were designed by the Polish artist, Roksana (NemezisAmaranth) and are dedicated to Greek Gods. This is an interesting combination of aged backgrounds and figures of court cards painted in a specific art style. The position of indices is disputable. Indices are English but names of Gods are in Polish.
