This Blog about This Blog: 300,000 Times Interesting for People

10.000, 50.000, 100,000, now more than 300.000. Yes, the “PLAYING CARDS + ART = COLLECTING” blog has been interesting for people more than 300.000 times.

This post could have other name and date. I made notes of my 1st month, 3d month and half a year on WordPress. You could logically expect “One Year on WordPress” (February 03, 2014). Well, man proposes but God disposes. Unfortunately I had to stop my activity on this site for some period of time. We all have different challenges of life.  So, I don’t think that there is any sense to specify my own challenges here. This blog isn’t about them. Sorry that I have left you without new posts on my site for some time.

On the other hand it is pleasant to see that a lot of readers and followers on different social media resources haven’t lost their interest in this site and have kept their following. The blog got attention from new readers as there were no new posts but there were a lot of new visitors. There was no single day without visitors. I also noticed (due to the internal link statistics of the site) that this site is already used as some type of reference library in the field of playing card collecting. Nice. Thank you for your constant interest. It invigorates. I will go on with my site (blog) and its development no matter what. Step by step…

The whole menu of PlayingCardCollector.net site was extended and improved. A lot of new (previously planned) sections have been added to it. Even “ABOUT ME” page has been rewritten and updated. Some sections are still “under construction”.

This Blog about This Blog: 100,000 Times Interesting for People

It is time to speak about this blog… 7,000 (the first month on WordPress), 10,000 (March, 2013), 29,000 (the third month on WordPress), 50,000 (June, 2013), 77,000 (half a year on WordPress)… and now 100,000. Yes, as of today the “Playing Cards + Art = Collecting” blog has been viewed more than 100,000 times.

What can I say? I guess…

But going back to the serious tone… ta-ta… ok, sorry. What I really want to do is to thank my readers for their attention and curiosity; artists featured on this blog for their talent and imagination; playing card producers for their sociability and efforts put into production of their decks. This blog couldn’t exist and doesn’t have any sense without all that. Thank you!

I want to say several words about new modest achievement of this blog. It did not take too long after the first month on WordPress to gain people’s attention 10,000 times.  And due to that I was pleased to see that my blog was really interesting for people. The third month on WordPress did not disappoint me as well – so many readers from so many places around the globe. It is so interesting. And now I can inform you that more than 50,000 times this blog was interesting for people. Not so bad result for the 4,5 months of its existence.

Main aims of this blog were described some time ago. I am glad that I was able (in different ways) to realize some of them. And I hope I will be able to continue with this.

This Blog about This Blog: 3d Month on WordPress

So three months flew by quickly. Yes, “Playing Cards + Art = Collecting” blog already exists for three months. It is a short period of time, actually, but it does not mean it is unimportant. So many things have happened since the first month of this blog on WordPress. And I think it is time to sum up some things again.

People have not lost their interest in this blog. The blog had its first 10,000 visits in mid March, 2013. And as of today the blog has been interesting for readers more than 29,000 times. Yes, more than 29,000 times.

People visit this blog each day. It’s pleasant to see such constant interest in it. March 30, 2013 was the hottest day – almost 800 visits (unfortunately several people got lost on Google and was not able to visit this blog that day… but they did it the next one 😉 ).

What is even more inspiring is that it has been (and I hope is and will be) interesting for people from completely different parts of the Earth. It is unbelievable and amazing at the same time! Also it is really nice that this blog continues to find new friends from around the globe each month of its existence. At this moment this blog has been visited by readers from such places of the world (in alphabetical order):

*** Please note that I used flags and names as they are given by the internal statistics of WordPress. So I am sorry for any possible discrepancy with official flag or name. As I understand the statistics of WordPress operates only with places which have their own ccTLD. It does not operate with human settlements.

My inquisitive readers, thank you for your interest. I am pleased to see that my blog is interesting for people from different parts of the Earth. One of the main aims of this blog is to be interesting, informative and useful (maybe even helpful) for its readers no matter whether they are interested in playing cards, art or just happened to be at the party. So I guess it copes with its task.

Note that almost all posts on this blog have their own category or several categories. The system of special categories should help you to find interesting information in older posts on this blog. I added links to some main categories in the end of almost all posts on this blog to make it more comfortable for you to look over them. Also you can choose all categories without exception in the special tab on the sidebar of this blog.

This Blog about This Blog: 1st Month on WordPress

Playing Cards + Art = Collecting” blog came into being on WordPress February 3, 2013. All earlier posts are converted from my Tumblr blog. So the blog has been around for a month. I guess it is time to sum up some thoughts and results.

The main idea of this blog was to share information about playing cards and art projects connected with playing cards. I thought it can be interesting not only for other collectors of playing cards but for other people interested in different types of human creativity as well. I thought but I wasn’t sure.

As of today the blog has been viewed almost 7,000 times.

People from around the world (Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Isle of Man, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Luxembourg, Macao, Malaysia, Maldives, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, Viet Nam) have shown their interest in this blog.

I think 240 (average) views per day mean some kind of constant interest in this blog. So I will go on with it.

Dear readers, I do not know who you are due to reasonable privacy policies of WordPress (I can only see total views from different countries) but I appreciate sincerely your appropriate interest.

I believe playing card collectors can find some new instances for their collections and useful information about upcoming decks or potential playing card projects. Some little known but very interesting designer’s playing card projects can also be found on this blog. The Kickstarter page is made to help to keep watch on interesting playing card projects on Kickstarter. The Sales & Discount page is made to help collectors to save their money for future replenishment of their collections. Find other interesting information on “USEFUL INFORMATION” page.

I guess people who do not collect playing cards can also find interesting artworks to behold. Museums and galleries are visited not only by collectors and historians (experts).

Also I am sure that in some way this blog can be useful for artists who want to release their decks of playing cards – people from around the world can see their artworks converged on this blog, estimate them, compare them, comment them, rate them, contact artists (why do you think I spend my time on all those social media contacts of artists); artists can get useful information about producers of playing cards, they can contact them for their effective cooperation and vice versa; artists can get additional feedback on their artworks (in case of active readers 🙂 ), also they can learn something new from their peers, etc.

Taking into account the above producers of playing cards can also find interesting information and exciting opportunities for themselves on this blog.

Dear readers, the system of special categories can help you to find interesting information in older posts on this blog. Check them in the right column under my Twitter feed.

I believe I will be able to please you with interesting information on this blog and I hope to see you on it more often. Also I hope you will actively share this blog on social networks, will comment posts on it or at least will rate playing card projects mentioned in them.

You can like the blog on its Facebook page and follow it on other social media networks.

Thank you. Have a nice day.
