Black Rock Collective Playing Cards Vol. 3

The Black Rock Collective hurried to get this deck out as the end of the world was, according to it’s sources, the year 2012, right??.

This beautiful deck, with artworks of mass destruction lovingly created by 30 artists of the BRC, pays homage to all those various myths, legends and conspiracy theories about how our little blue planet might meet its demise. Each artists, some more than once, has interpreted the end of the world differently. There’s horsemen, meteors, floods, pandemics, and more than one skull in this deck.

As always, the styles are as varied as the BRC’s nationalities. What IS different about this deck (masterfully named ‘Version 3’) is that every BRC artists started with a completely black background, with the black suits reversed out in white.” ~ BRC

Black Rock Collective Playing Cards Vol. 2

Black Rock Collective Playing Cards Vol. 2 is another beautiful deck, lovingly created by over 30 artists of the Black Rock Collective.

The feel, overall brilliantly printed card size and box design are the same as the first deck. As is the varied styles (and nationalities) of the BRC. What IS different about this deck (ingeniously named ‘Version 2’) is the limited palette of classic Black, White and Red. Almost every mix of these three colours artistically designed for your card playing pleasure.” ~ BRC

Black Rock Collective Playing Cards Vol. 1

This Black Rock Collective Playing Cards Vol. 1 deck was lovingly created by 36 artists of the Black Rock Collective.

A rather crass yet brilliant Australian member had the idea of doing a card deck – a perfect medium to utilise the BRC’s mish mash of styles and techniques. One of the New Zealand members ran with this idea (such is the way down there in the Antipodes) and ‘by crikey’, here it is.

The result of hours of doodling, squabbling, and sanding every card by hand has produced this diverse and beautiful card deck. It feels amazing, and deserves to be fondled as much as possible.” ~ BRC
